I led this project to redesign IKEAs after sales service offer. Our customer and market research identified a wide range of customer pain points as well as opportunities for new value propositions.

We delivered a new service blueprint and the team also asked us to to co-create a business vision & roadmap shifting from reactionary to pro active "enabling better living".

ADDED SCIENTIFIC
ROADMAP
I facilitated the team through a process to define a market development roadmap based on novel material & 3D printing methods forthis University of Nottingham Additive Manufacturing spin-out.

The project helped achieve strategic investment from two industry leaders, Brent Stucker and David Leigh, to accelerate the expansion and commercialisation of its product portfolio.

BIOLIBERTY
PROPOSITION DESIGN
Bioliberty restore upper limb function by integrating soft robotics with gamified therapy. I led a process to define their product and brand proposition to futureproof their business.
Impacts include: $3m pre-seed raise for product development , set up US site in Boston, now in 24 hospitals across the US including top-ranked facilities.

​I led a project for IKEA to explore the needs of people in Small Space Urban Living environments.
We created a range of innovative products and several new patents. We also stimulated the first ever cross-business high growth range and product roadmap under the value proposition "Versatile Living"​.

3M BRAND EXPERIENCE
DESIGN
I led the creation of a global design conference and co-created a brand experience toolkit that left the team genuinely energised and refocused on design excellence.

The new toolkit has driven greatly improved brand equity measurement and supported the design team to become a strategic business partner.

IKEA WASTE MANAGEMENT ROADMAP
A project that explored current pain points and emerging customer needs with regards to a growing need: managing waste and recycling.
We built a range roadmap across a number of waste stages (prevention, organisation & processing) as well as range areas (cook & eat, home organisation, outdoor, etc).
