Helping this University of Nottingham Additive Manufacturing spin-out to define a prioritised range of propositions and market development roadmap based on novel material & 3D printing methods.
A horizon 1 project that explored the emerging and future needs of customers in USA, EU and ASIA in relation to after sales service and support. We developed a range of new propositions and defined a transformative 3 stage ‘strategic roadmap’ for IKEA.
This project explored new products based on “Versatile Home”, a value proposition that resulted from an earlier Small Space Urban Living exploration. Through a research based, people centred, iterative design process we created many breakthrough new product concepts generating several new patents. These are soon to introduced.

Leading a programme of Design Council cross industry stakeholder workshops to develop the framework for the future of network rail smaller stations and transport hubs.
